By Car
From London, this trip can be done within 12 hours.
Inverness is approximately 3 hours from Edinburgh via the A9 and about 5 hours from Newcastle.
Car hire
Car hire is an easy and convenient way of reaching Inverness from further afield. It is also a great way of having the freedom to explore the Highlands before or after your holiday with us!

By Ferry
The UK now has many good ferry connections with Europe and Ireland giving you the flexibility of bringing your own car!

P&O Ferries, from Zeebrugge to Hull, Rotterdam to Hull, Calais to Dover and Bilbao to Portsmouth
Stenaline, from Belfast to Stranraer and Larne to Fleetwood
By Air
Flybe and easyJet both have regular flights into Inverness Airport and special prices are often available. Other scheduled flights throughout the summer may also be available, keep watching for new flights being introduced at www.hial.co.uk
Inverness Airport is approximately 12 miles from our boatyard. The easiest way to reach us from the airport is either by taxi directly to the boatyard or by the airport shuttle bus to the centre of Inverness and then a taxi to the boatyard.
Taxi Service
It takes approximately 5-10 minutes by taxi to get to us from the centre of Inverness and approximately 20-30 minutes by taxi to get to us from the airport.
Taxi ranks are located both in the centre of Inverness and at the airport but pre-booking is also possible and is recommended for larger groups.

By Train
Regular services and overnight train services run from London and most main UK train stations.
Inverness Train Station is located in the centre of Inverness and is approximately 3 miles from our boatyard.
