| A regular To anyone who is thinking of booking this sort of holiday - dont hesitate to use Caley Cruisers. The staff are great and so knowledgeable. I am about to embark on my ninth trip and there really is only once place to go boating and one company to go with. The scenery, food and people allow any group (no matter how big/small) to relax, have fun and eat well. Caley Cruisers go out of the their way to help, I have a website too if you are still not sure! Cheers Ian www.greatglenboating.homstead.com | ||||

| 25 care- and trouble-free years After years of canal holidays, the sparkle on the loch as I drove past - and the unmistakeable Hoseasons symbol on a passing boat - made me miss my appointment and go straight to the Tourist Information Office in Inverness. From there direct to the boatyard, and I was hooked. That was in 1984 and I’ve been back at least every other year since, during which happy times I’ve introduced many friends, and a lover or two, to the joys of simply messing about in boats. It really is the fastest way of slowing down! The instruction is brisk and effective, the boats are warm and comfortable and fun to drive and the scenery at any time of year is to die for. You can actually see the curvature of the earth as you cruise down Loch Ness, and the colours of the canal side trees in autumn are divine. Jim and Elizabeth Hogan have gradually handed the care and service to daughter Audrey and just-as-enthusiastic incomer Karin. These are truly lovely people who love their country, their waterway, their boats and their customers. They are kind, encouraging, helpful and forgiving, though not above teasing the Sassenachs with the code for the lock-up! (My lips are sealed – you’ll have to ask them . . .) Take the full week, do the full length (to Banavie), hop on the bus to Fort William and reward yourself with a stroll up the high street to a heart-stopping all-day breakfast at McTavish’s Kitchen! | ||||

| Ten years boating holidays In Europe waterways, you can find many kinds of boating holidays, they are different. I write as we have had experiences, starting from booking, service and first contacts. Maybe we are in perfect hook on boats. One thing we have decided: "We dont buy our own boat". It is so easy to book cruising from 10/10 points staff, start cruising on board ready 10/10 points well maintained boats after very careful tuition and safety lesson. This all will be enough for boat handling if you are careful and remember to take your time and not to hurry at all. Because we are interested of navigation, two of our regular crew have certificate for navigation from authorities. After all I dont keep myself wrong person to speak for boating holidays. First time customers and experts are welcome to take contact me, I can encourage you to hire a boat and, if you want, we can cruise together boat following another boat, on Caledonian Canal and Caley Cruisers, and I can give also high points to our many years friends Audrey and Karin and all other staff. Michael gives good lessons and encourages customers on their holidays. In these words I dont forget other persons in Caley Cruisers staff, they are all just great. Next time we are looking forward to meet them next October. New website gives well information. | Our best holiday ever Grateful thanks to the crew at Caley Cruisers for our best holiday ever. I don't relax and this is the first holiday where I completely switched off. I've always loved being on a boat anyway but I came back so relaxed it took me 2 weeks to get back into the hang of things at work! It was 25 years since I had last handled a boat but we had nothing to worry about. A good training session followed by the endless patience and good humour of the lock keepers as we, and others, bounced off lock walls and pontoons made the whole holiday so enjoyable. Recommended? Absolutely! But be warned. You might find yourself going down with a severe case of the boating bug. I have. I wonder if Caley Marina will build me a boat? Thanks again to you all. | ||||
